The Story

Sun House Studio didn't start with a business plan - it started as a feeling.

I grew up in Currumbin Beach, and have always been passionate about the southern Gold Coast - the light, the lifestyle, the quiet creative energy of this stretch of coastline.

In 2008, I co-founded The Village Markets to challenge the idea that the Gold Coast lacked culture. Over 16 years, it became a launchpad for brands like Kivari, Peony, Business & Pleasure Co, F+H Jewellery, Lokoa, musician Ziggy Alberts, and a true community hub.

What I loved most about it wasn't the markets themselves - it was the people. The creatives, the makers, the small business owners finding their footing and building something real.

That connection was the seed for everything that came next.

Sun House Studio was born from a desire to create a space where that same energy could live year-round - not just on market days. A light-filled, design-led space in Burleigh Heads built for creativity, connection, and collaboration. More than a co-working space, shoot studio, or event venue - it's a place where people feel genuinely at home.

You'll find me upstairs most days, working alongside our co-working community or supporting brands and creatives hosting shoots, workshops, and events.

Over time, Sun House has grown into something broader than the studio walls.

My eye for space and obsession with beautiful, considered interiors led naturally into styling - first my own home and studio, then for others.

Today I offer interior styling and prop sourcing for real estate campaigns and Airbnb properties across the Gold Coast, bringing the same instinct I've always had for making spaces feel warm, alive, and unmistakably somewhere.

It all comes from the same place. A love of beautiful things, a passion for people, and a deep belief that the spaces we inhabit shape how we feel in them.

Welcome to Sun House Studio.
